Altered Tin

before

after

This is my actual working table. I have been keeping the empty milk can to store my stationery mainly because it is free, just the right size and of course, I thought of altering it someday (which has been lying on the table for months and months...great procrastinator..lol).  Now, it is the right time to call for some crafty touch-up...
materials:
Martha Stewart pinking scallop border punch, Carl flower punch, buttons, Spellbinder Shapeabilities flourish accent, digital bird image which I paper-piece with paper downloaded from Crafter's Companion Everyday Twin-set.

Challenges:
  1. Crop Stop - may nightingales (use either bird, birdcage, birdnest and some textured)
  2. Loathian's Craft - three flowers and three buttons
  3. Simon Says - anything goes
  4. Simon Stamp & Show - buttons
  5. Paperplay - use an object not intended for crafting (mine is empty milk tin)
  6. Stamp Something -things with wings
  7. Try It On Tuesday - alter tin (sponsored by The Craft Barn)
  8. Charisma Cardz - april showers may flowers
TFL.

  10. This is wonderful! Love the sweet spring feeling to it. Great job on altering that can.

And personally, thanks for affirming my urge to alter a soup can that my daughter left on the counter this afternoon. I looked at it and suddenly I could see it in my mind's eye, altered and sitting on my craft desk. Then I said to myself, you are going dotty, you definitely need to get out of that craft room - true story, happened just this afternoon - LOL.

Anyway, great job on the button challenge. So happy you joined in the fun with us this week at Simon Says Stamp and Show.
