Be Happy Bookmark

Coloured the whole watercolour paper background and image using soft pastel, applying Nagomi art technique. I punch out tiny sakura flower and butterfly on photostate paper as the masking template to colour them using finger touch.
Cut out the sentiment using Memory Box Alphabet Soup die from a snippet of black card stock. Adhered to a piece of red card stock and tied up with yellow yarn. Am making this bookmark to remind myself to stay happy despite the Covid-19 lockdown. The bookmark is based on this sketch.

Hero

Made this digital layout using patterned papers from various company ie Echo Park, Cosmo Cricket etc. Have not been creating digital layout for quite some time (years probably) and it is fun to be able to spend some time doing it.

This layout is based on a theme song of Mariah Carey titled 'Hero' in Challenge YOUrself blog.  I picked up some of the lyrics from that song as the journal for my layout.

Beautiful handmade card by Christina

Received this prize pack from Christina of the wonderful blog Flowers, Ribbons and Pearls. Look at the multi-layers texture card, love it so much. The background colour inking is simply awesome, something which I am still struggling with. Thank you so much Christina for sharing your inspiration and generous prize pack.
