Altered Note Pad

Plaid brass stencil

Altered this old 3x3"note pad by adding the embossed patterned using Plaid brass stencil. Have bought this many years ago before I have the die-cut machine. I was fascinated with hand embossing then..lol..!

After embossed with stylus, I inked the embossed area with TH Spun Sugar distress ink. Such fun. I love details embossing.

Altered this empty milk can as pen holder. Have fun colouring Tilda using Copic. I have lots of empty can waiting to be altered as stationery storage.

Altered Tin

Altered this milk can as stationery caddy.  Handmade the flowers using daisy punch, leaf is punched out from MS Frond and shaped them a bit for added dimension. Mat the flowers on die cut from Spellbinder Beaded Ovals die.

Altered Note Pad - baby photo

 

I received this note pad yesterday from my son's kindergarten teacher during the meet-the-parents session.  I made a quick page using Photoshop and printed it out. Added a punch border to the top of the notepad.

Altered Note Pad - Sweet Tilda and Butterfly

image: Tilda coloured with Tombow watercolour pen, added stickles on the butterfly, swirl, shoe and skirt. Altered bean can

I altered the empty bean can as stationery caddy. I adhered the can with a self-adhesive waterproof seal wrapping patterned plastic. Painted the top part of the can with Pelikan Plaka yellow paint. I did not add any embellishment because this can is for my 2 1/2 years old son to put all his colour pencils in.  Actually, I was painting another empty can with gesso and left it on my table. He saw the empty can and he took out all his colour pencils from the pencil box and put them into the can, giggling and playing by himself.

Altered Tin

This is my actual working table. I have been keeping the empty milk can to store my stationery mainly because it is free, just the right size and of course, I thought of altering it someday (which has been lying on the table for months and months...great procrastinator..lol).  Now, it is the right time to call for some crafty touch-up...

materials:

Martha Stewart pinking scallop border punch, Carl flower punch, buttons, Spellbinder Shapeabilities flourish accent, digital bird image which I paper-piece with paper downloaded from Crafter's Companion Everyday Twin-set.

Altered Origami Box

Altered origami square box. Materials:
Nestabilities flourish, Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder, handmade satin ribbon(yoyo flower), butterfly die-cut, Martha Stewart pinking scallop punch and red satin ribbon.

Altered Tin Can

I altered the empty tin can (..I have a lot and more of this altered project coming soon..) to make it into Christmas gift box. Paper is from Imaginisce, added butterfly, cross, the flower is a handmade using Spellbinder classic circle scallop dies (I use the smallest) layered and bind them using a brad in the centre, crunch and shaped into flower. I also added Plaid pearl glitters to the edge of the petal. Tag is embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder. Under the flower is the big snowflake punch out using Martha Stewart snowflake punch. I made the can lid by cutting a circle from card stock and finish it off with MS pinking scallop punch border and also with a gold grossgrain ribbon.

Altered Notebook Cover

Got this freebie notepad from a local bookstore and I altered the cover using christmas patterned paper, cut-out stamped ornament images (freebie stamp from Papercraft Inspiration magazine) and the greeting tags in scallop circle from Lollychops (tx a bunch Lolly!). A green cardstock is embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder before adhered to the notepad spine.

Altered Old Planner

Another altered project. This is an old planner measuring 3" x 5" and I don't know what happened to the front cover, maybe I have discard it. I adhered the front and back panel of the planner with bright and colourful patterned paper. For embellishment, I simply added a yellow ribbon to the left side of the front cover. Super easy.

Altered Fridge Magnet

This an old fridge magnet sticking on my fridge, which I never bother to even look at it. I was inspired by Get Sketchy Challenge "Trash to Treasure" to alter it. I drew the template accordingly on a patterned paper, cut and adhered over the old photo frame magnet sticker and added this cute image from Digi Kitty. Easy peasy.
