Now, let's continue with the fun time. Did you know that the last public appearance of the Beatles was on January 30, 1969? So to mark this momentous occasion Paper Maniac decided to do a Magical Mystery Blog Hop where all the cards will be inspired by a song title, lyrics, album cover or something about the Beatles.
My card is inspired by the song "Hey Jude" a song by Paul Mcartney comforting Julian (John Lennon's son) after John's divorce. It is a song of thinking someone who is very dear to you . I created this bookmark and the sentiment said it all "Thinking Of You".

Mag Cover

Thanks to Wendy of Digital Doodling for linking this site which has free d.i.y mag cover. This is my 1year old baby..it was a candid capture actually..he got himself inside the little pink basket while playing alone. Grab that camera and clicked...!!! Oh, he did not know how to get out from the little basket after that..cutie..cutie. I submitted this to the Digital Doodling challenge as well as the MagMyPic challenge. So fun.

Cupcake Candle

Based on MMSC37 sketch, the cupcake candle digi image is from Simple Doodle and I coloured with copic and water colour pencils, cut it out and adhered with sticky foam pad to the card. Background pink & white circle paper is a digital download paperpack from GinaK Design. Added pink with gold edge ribbon to the top and bottom of the card. Sentiment is own printed from pc. Simple Doodle is having a "Celebration" challenge, head over for some fantastic freebie image and join the fun challenge. Presents digi image from Simple Doodle and the sentiment Today 10 is from Bird's Card. I dry embossed the red card stock a manual daisy stick on punch and coloured them with pink pastel. Punch out red card stock with 2" scallop circle punch. Entering challenge in The Cuttlebug Spot "No, 10" and Simon Says as well as Creative Card Crew for "Punch It challenge".

Flower Love

Based on Sunday Sketch & Stamp, the flower image from Nina B Designs coloured with water colour pencils and adhered to a red card stock. I punched the corners of the red card stock with corner punch. Added two pp to the card and sentiment was from Bird's Card. Other materials used are deep red ribbon, epoxy stickers and punch out orange colour flower on top right. Also entered for Incy Wincy Designs"favourite colouring medium(water colour pencils),Creative Card Crew and Simon Says "Punch It", and Crafty Creations"Valentine/Love".

Cupcake Girl Love

Using Sketch Saturday, the cupcake girl digi image is from Digital Doodling and love sentiment from Bird's Card, I coloured the image with my favourite colouring medium, water colour pencils and glitter pen. I layered two different rose designs pattern paper on the white card stock. Other materials used: satin pink ribbon, heart shaped punch out from red card stock and glued onto twisted red&gold colour wire. Challenges entered Sketch Saturday sketch, Allsorts "Brown & Pink, SSDS "girly"(girly cupcake girl), Incy Wincy Designs "favourite colouring medium(water colour pencils), Creative Card Crew and Simon Says "Punch It", Papertake "Pretty Pink" and Crafty Creations "Valentine/Love".

Icy Blue Love

I used digi background pattern image from Fred She Said freebie (fantastic site) and printed on white card stock. Added the Love sentiment from Birds's Card freebie (another fantastic blog) printed on white card stock and punched out with 1.5inches circle punch, adhered to a blue circle card stock before layering to 2" scallop circle white card stock. Other materials are shiny light blue ribbon and love sticker and the border was blue colour card stock punch out using heart punch. Entering The Play Date Challenge this week "Blue" colour, One Stop Craft "Fancy Edges/Border" (i used hearts shape border punch), Creative Card Crew "Punch It" (scallop circle, circle and heart border punch), Raise The Bar "Debut Day (1st time using digital background image), Squigglefly "CAS +Blue", Sew Many Challenges "Anything Goes" and Stamp Something "Blue&White.

Shabby Chic Rose

Simon Says Stamp challenge this week is Shabby Chic, and I searched the internet to get better idea of it. I used Lily Boo's rose image and coloured with copic and water colour pencil. The doily was painted with Pelikan Prisma Color paint which has dual tone of shimery red. Other materials used are floral pp, cream & dark brown card stock, light brown ribbon and hearts shape embellishment.

Kitty Valentine

This is an altered fridge magnet project using freebie image from There's Magic In The Air for their challenge this week using this image+stripes.

Valentine Card

Based on the Get Sketchy challenge sketch, I use the bird and cage digi image from Design 2Delights. Adhered flower patterned paper, orange&blue textured paper tied with red string and embellished with punch out cream&pink flowers at the top. This is also for the Lily Boo Too Valentine+digi image challenge and Stamp,Scrap & Doodle Saturday "celebration challenge.

Valentine Bird N Cage

Based on Sketch Saturday, I used the bird and cage digi image from Designed 2Delights freebie for this valentine card. Coloured with water colour pencils and glitter pen, I tore instead of cutting the printed image and inked the edged with gold water colour pencil. For layering, I cut white card stock with shaped scissor and inked the edge with gold water colour pencil too. Other materials are cream card stock for the base, cream satin ribbon, dark brown ribbon, pink flower ribbon, punch out daisies and own sentiment. This card is also for the Creative Card Crew "Distress" Challenge, Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday "Celebration", Simon Says "Brown/Pink" and Lily-Boo Too "Valentine" challenge.
