Jingle All The Way

The santa clear stamp is a freebie from craft magazine. I stamped it onto a small piece of white cardstock, coloured with Copic and fussy cut out the image.

On another piece of white card stock, I coloured the background with lilac pastel and dotted with white gel pen to create snowy scene. Adhere to the back of the front panel card which was cut out with a circle die. I used foam tape to prop up the Santa image. 

Embellish the card with diecut leaves from the left over cardstock that was made for the background scene. Punch the border of a patterned paper and adhere to the bottom of the card. Stamped the sentiment with red ink pad to finish it off.

Christmas is coming

embossing folder, Martha Stewart Pinking Scallop punch, Lifestyle Scallop Square Die, Copic


Stamped the image onto a snippet of white cardstock and then diecut with a scallop square frame die. Coloured the image with Copic and did the background using watercolour. Matted the image onto an embossed white card stock. Finish it off with tying a grossgrain ribbon over the folded top where the edge was punch with a scallop border punch. I stamped the sentiment on a snippet of white card stock and adhere to the folded top.

Christmas deer tag

Windmill Christmas Card

I am playing in the Butterfly Challenge where there is element of using windmill on the card. There is a tutorial on making this windmill on the blog as well and I learned something new today. It's fun indeed to make the windmill,  especially using the scallop square punch and combining different patterned papers. The sentiment was embossed on a white card stock and cut it out, adhered to another piece of red cardstock. 

I am participating for the theme (windmill, word, butterfly) and colour (wine=dark red) in the Butterfly Challenge.

Coloured the background using Mijello watercolour pan. After dried, stamped the background script text and prayer sentiment on it. The girl image was stamped, coloured with Touch Raven markers and fussy cut before adhered to the bookmark.

Christmas Deer Tag

The little reindeer stamp from Magnolia was coloured with Mijello watercolour and fussy cut out the image. Christmas tree was stamped and cut out too. The background is a snowflake scene patterned paper, cut to replicate outside snow land. Adhere the images with foam pad for added interest.

Christmas

 

        Stamp: Christmas Tree from Hot Off The Press, a freebie from Simply Cards & Papercraft 102, poinsettia die, MS Snowflake punch, soft pastel, Spellbinder Classic Oval die, Cuttlebug embossing folder

I die-cut an oval shape from white cardstock and then embossed it. Coloured the background using soft pastel on another piece of cardstock and adhered to the back of the embossed cardstock. Stamped the tree stamp and added poinsettia flower and the sentiment which was stamped on snippet of leftover white cardstock.

I am inspired by Judy's (of Double D Challenges DT) card, a technique which I have never tried before. Love the outcome.

Autumn Hello

 

Stamp: Inkadinkado maple leaf rubber stamp,

    Today I pull out one of my very much less 'loved' rubber stamp from my craft cabinet (out of sight, out of mind, lol!). I inked the stamp with multi-tone orange dye ink pad and also a multi-tone green ink pad. Fussy cut the leaves. 

    The background was coloured with yellow and orange soft pastel using Nagomi technique, which is using our fingers instead of brush to colour. Stamped the sentiment on snippet of white cardstock and layered onto black cardstock to highlight it before adhering to the slimline card.

Have A Furry Christmas

Printed this festive pets image, a freebie from Papercraft Inspirations, fussy cut, embossed the back of the image to give a wee bit of dimension, adhered onto card with foam tape. Background patterned paper resemble the snow scene, embossed a white card stock with Sizzix 'Evergreen' embossing folder. 
  The flowers was handmade, using 3 different sizes punch and red & green cardstock.

Christmas Card

 


Using printable image from My Craft Studio 'Christmas Teddies', I fussy cut it with scissors. The sentiment was from my stash. Made the poinsettia using the die and the snowflake was from Martha Stewart snowflake punch. Matted 2 pieces of patterned paper and added scallop edge cardstock before adhering onto the base of black cardstock.

Get Well Soon

I started with die-cut corner of pink cardstock with Marianne Design corner die and inked the background with soft pastel. Stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and diecut with a MD label die. I also coloured the background with soft pastel using Nagomi technique. Finish it off with a butterfly die-cut as embellishment to the card.

Trio Balloon Fun

The cute mice image was coloured with Faber Castell watercolour pencils and then blended it using baby oil and stick cotton swabs. For added interest, I added grass on the background to ground the image. I love colouring image! Such fun.

Christmas Card

The candy cane image was with light magenta ink pad, fussy cut and adhere onto a cut-out tag which was embossed with Sizzix  embossing folder. Punch out from white cardstock with pine edge punch and the bottom white layered was fussy cut to emulate snow landscape. I coloured the background of the 2 white cardstock layers using light blue soft pastel.

Happy Anniversary

Stamped the image on white cardstock and coloured with Mijello watercolour pan using aqua brush. It is easier and more convenient using the pan and aqua brush. 

I did the slide and lock card technique for the first time. This is part of the technique introduced in Butterfly Challenge #161 Spin The Butterfly Wheel with S for Slide and Lock Card. Have fun learning this technique. 

The sentiment was from stamped on snippet of white cardstock (I keep all leftover in a ziplock bag). Added a tiny heart embellishment too.

Hope we meet again

Another stamp from TPC Studio that I am using for the first time after keeping inside (out of sight, out of mind) craft cabinet for 10 years or so. 

The stamp was inked onto white cardstock and fussy cut out. I inked the background of the bookmark size white cardstock with distress ink and blending brush. The bubble like background was inked using a circle or dots mask.

Sentiment was stamped directly onto the bookmark.

Had a play with my stamp which was bought more than 10 years ago and never use it. Inked the stamp on a snippet of white cardstock. Fussy cut the image with scissors. Pull out another piece of white cardstock and embossed it with stars and stripes embossing folder. I inked the background using soft pastel. I love using them because it is therapeutic and easy to blend the colours.

Inked the background using Tim Holz Mustard Seed distress ink with a blending brush. Added magenta and blue colour soft pastel on the background too. The sailing boat stamp was stamped on a snippet of white cardstock and fussy cut out. Sentiment was bought from a local store.

    I distressed a piece of yellow cardstock using TH distress ink pad before embossed it with a floral embossing folder. The daisy was a Memory Box die Daisy Sillhoutte, cut out from a snippet of white cardstock. Adhered all onto a white cardstock which has been punch with border punch for added interest.

    Stamped the image on watercolour paper, coloured it with Mijello watercolour and then fussy cut the image and adhered to the bookmark.

    On a piece of cardstock, I use honeycomb stencil and inked the background using distress ink pad with blending brush tool. It was therapeutic for me, able to create such background with simple tools.

    Hello Snowdrop Flower

     

    stamp : Cleary Besotted 'Snowdrops', Basic Grey measurement tape stamp, others:hexagon stencil, doily lace stencil, Titi soft pastel, Tim Holtz distress ink pad 'mustard seed', Mijello Mission Gold watercolour, butterfly punch, snippet of blue patterned paper (for the butterfly) 

    First I stenciled the background of white cardstock with hexagon stencil using Titi soft pastel and after that, added doily lace stencil on the top edge using TH distress ink pad. 

    Stamped the snowdrop flower on 300gsm watercolour paper and coloured it with Mijello watercolour pan using aquabrush. Love the watercolour, vibrant pigment. Fussy cut the image and adhered on the card. Finish it off with sentiment and tiny punch out butterfly.

      Teacher's Day Flower Pot Card

      Made this flower pot shape card and made the flowers using daisy flower punch. Use a stylus ball and shape the petals before multi-layered them. After I cut-out the flower pot shape white cardstock, I embossed it with Sizzix embossing folder. Added butterfly, ribbon and snippet of patterned paper to embellish it.

      Corner Bookmark

      It's been awhile since I last made the corner bookmark. The image was from House Mouse Design, coloured with Copic. Die-cut a label from cream cardstock and matted on the patterned paper bookmark. The mice are having strawberry flavour cream cake, which means it's a short break from reading and time for some refreshment...lol!
