Christmas Card

 

poinsettia dies, wreath dies, Sizzix 'Ornate Swirls' embossing folder, bling, soft pastel

The poinsettia was die-cut and coloured with soft pastel. The wreath was die-cut from green cardstock. Embossed the front panel white cardstock with Sizzix embossing folder 'Ornate Swirls'.

Christmas Wonder

The image was coloured with Copic, fussy cut it out. Die-cut a label from the brown cardstock and then layered over a snippet of watercolour paper which I did on trial by simply coloured it (but not good enough to use as front panel of card). Added poinsettia die-cut flower as embellishment. Sentiment was computer generated.

Peace and Joy

Wreath stamp (Uniko), snowflake stencil, TimHolz distress ink 'Spun Sugar'

Create the background with distress ink and snowflake stencil. Stamped the wreath image and the sentiment directly on the card.

    Santa Christmas

    Santa stamp freebie from magazine (Papercraft Inspiration#67), Sizzix-Basic Grey 'Snow Flower' embossing folder, Spellbinder Classic Scallop Circle and Classic Circle dies

    Image was stamp and coloured with watercolour pencils, did-cut with circle dies and matted on red scallop diecut. Embossing white panel with Sizzix embossing folder. Next, stamp tree image with green ink pad and fussy cut it out. Adhered everything onto red card.

    Stamp the Santa image on white cardstock and fussy cut it out.
    Diecut oval from white and red cardstock. Embossed the white card panel with Sizzix embossing folder. Adhered everything to the red card.

    Christmas Gatefold Card



    Christmas tree stamp (freebie from Cardmaking & Papercraft 2014 magazine), snowflake stencil, dot & paisley patterned embossing folder, curvy die, oval die, border punch, snowflake punch, Tuti soft pastel

    First, I stamped the Christmas tree and diecut with oval die. I coloured the background with soft pastel. 

    Cut 2 pieces white card stock to make the front panel. Used snowflake stencil and broad foundation brush to colour the background with Broken China distress ink. It was easy breezy, done in a jiffy.

    For the inner inlay, I coloured the background with Tuti soft pastel before embossed it. Stamped the sentiment and diecut with the coordinating curvy die. Punch the border from white cardstock and also big snowflake to embellish the inner card.

    A Christmas Wish

    A freebie image by Hello Magic, embossing folder, snowflake punch

    Printed the image and fussy cut with hand. Embossed the white panel cardstock and matted with dark blue cardstock. Adhere patterned paper and lastly, adhered the image and embellishment.

    Printed the image and fussy cut with scissor and sharp craft knife. Finish the card with a dark brown ribbon to match the brown card stock.

    Hedgie Christmas tree

    others: Spellbinder Oval die, Tim Holz distress ink (Broken China, Spiced Marmalade), watercolour, plaid embossing folder

    Stamped the image on watercolour cardstock and coloured it using aquabrush and Mijello watercolour. Fussy cut out the image. Next, I diecut a plastic sheet with oval shape die, using it as stencil to ink the background with distress ink. Ran through the card with plaid embossing folder, adhere the image and the sentiment.

    Christmas

    Santa Claus stamp freebie from Quick Cards magazine, poinsettia dies, EK Success scallop circle punch, Sizzix Dotted Circle embossing folder, Mijello watercolour, patterned paper, ribbon


    Stamp this tiny Santa Claus stamp on snippet of white cardstock and coloured with Mijello watercolour, then fussy cut it out.  Die-cut poinsettia flower from watercolour paper and then colour them with oil pastel using sponge brush. Adhere the image onto piece of round cardstock which was punch and embossed with Sizzix dotted circle. Matted the white cardstock with red floral patterned paper before adhering the image and embellishment.

    Holly Dog

    Won this stamp from a challenge website decade ago. Stamped it on white cardstock and coloured with Copic. Embellish with poinsettia flowers from die-cut and snowflake which was punch out from snippet of blue cardstock and added bling to the centre.

    Gnome Santa


     Stamp : MFT, Touch New markers, plaid patterned paper, Spellbinder Classic Oval dies

    Gnome Santa holding present image coloured with Touch New markers. Fussy cut with hand and adhered to the card. The front panel of the card was die-cut with Spellbinder oval die.

    First time colouring the gnome, quite fun activity to do on my free time. I fussy cut the image after coloured it with Touch New marker. Adhered the patterned paper before sticking the image onto it with foam tape.

    Windmill Christmas Card

    I am playing in the Butterfly Challenge where there is element of using windmill on the card. There is a tutorial on making this windmill on the blog as well and I learned something new today. It's fun indeed to make the windmill,  especially using the scallop square punch and combining different patterned papers. The sentiment was embossed on a white card stock and cut it out, adhered to another piece of red cardstock. 

    I am participating for the theme (windmill, word, butterfly) and colour (wine=dark red) in the Butterfly Challenge.

    Have A Furry Christmas

     

    printable from Papercraft Inspirations 'Festive Pets', Sizzix-Basic Grey Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 'Evergreen', Martha Stewart Frond punch, flower (medium & small) punch, bling


    Printed this festive pets image, a freebie from Papercraft Inspirations, fussy cut, embossed the back of the image to give a wee bit of dimension, adhered onto card with foam tape. Background patterned paper resemble the snow scene, embossed a white card stock with Sizzix 'Evergreen' embossing folder. 
      The flowers was handmade, using 3 different sizes punch and red & green cardstock.

    Christmas Card

    Stamp: Magnolia Mini Tilda
    Tools: Sizzix Basic Grey embossing folder, pattern paper, MS Snowflake punch, diy ribbon flower, Copic, Frantic Stamper Stitched Rounded Rectangles

    Coloured the cute mini Tilda with Copic, die cut a frame from snippet of pink cardstock, emboss a piece of white card stock with Sizzix embossing folder, adhered the embossed cardstock and the patterned paper on the pink base card. I pop up the image with some cardboard at the back. Adhere a pink satin ribbon and diy a ribbon flower and attached to the card.

    Shaped Christmas Card





    Stamp: freebie from magazine, 
    others: ink pad, MS Scandinavian Snowflake punch, Spellbinder Oval die, Lifestyle Nesting Frame Label 16 die, patterned paper , snippet of green cardstock,bling

    Done this card based on MFT Challenge Sketch 494.



    I cut the white cardstock with Label 16 die, inked the stamp and after that cut out using oval shape die. Before taking out from the die, I coloured the oval white background with soft pastel in 2 shades of green. Love the soft pastel, better than the distress ink. Finished it off with snowflakes embellishment which were punch out from Martha Stewart snowflake punch. Lastly, added bling bling on the tree.
