Cupcake Decoupage

This is actually my first attempt at decoupaging.(I tried this before but didn't understand the technique, so instead of using dimensional foam tape, I used the normal double-side tape and the result was hilarious...lol


The entire of this cupcake is a printable freebie from Card Making Downloads. I added yarn on the paper button. My 3 years old son loves this cupcake card and was singing birthday song, clapping his hands and blow the cupcake card until it fell off...

Paper: Basic Grey Urban Couture Pashima
others: Tim Holtz tea-dye distress ink pad (distressing the paper border), doily (I dye it with Chinese tea for a vintage distress look. I soak a bunch of doily in the tea for 2 hours and let them air dry overnight. Love the fresh Chinese tea smell..), bling, glitter glue (on the scallop edge), Baker's Twine, brown ink-pen (faux stitch) and EK Success scallop circle punch.
