Joy Fold Card

Today I attempted multi-fold card technique called joy fold card. I followed instruction from The Butterfly Challenge blog here. Took me some time to figure out the cutting. Mouse image was coloured with watercolour.

Christmas Tag

 

Use a poinsettia dies to make the flowers from white cardstock. I painted pearlescent watercolour on it for shimmering look. Sentiment stamp was a freebie from craft magazine.

Santa Tag

 

Santa clear stamp freebie from Quick Cards magazine, snowflake stencil, distress ink 'fired brick', watercolour

Colour the background of the tag with snowflake stencil and red distress ink. Santa image was coloured with watercolour and fussy cut it out.  Love cutting image, kind of therapeutic to me, lol.  Luckily I have this super sharp scissors EK Success Honey Bee brand, it cuts details easily.

Miracle

Woodware butterfly stamp, stencil, Stampendous LB Mosaic Butterfly cling stamp (sentiment), Twin Touch markers, floral stencil, distress ink

Splash the background with some watercolour and then using a large floral stencil, colour it with a wide brush using distress ink (dusty concord).  Stamped the butterfly on a snippet of leftover cardstock, coloured with markers and fussy cut it out. Stamped the sentiment and cut it out. Adhere both to the card.

A Special Day

 Stamp: House Mouse stamp, Distress Ink (mustard seed, broken china, peeled paint), cloud stencil

Inked the background with distress ink. Colour the image with Copic and cut out manually.

stamp: Kaisercraft Butterfly, Prima 'doily', italic text background stamp

others: soft pastel, Faber Castel watercolour pencil

Created another bookmark with different background colour using soft pastel, and then stamped the text background. Butterfly image was stamped and coloured with watercolour pencil.

I coloured the background using soft pastel with combination of few colours and then stamped the text background. Butterfly image was stamped and coloured with watercolour pencil.
