Shaped Christmas Card

Stamp: freebie from magazine,
others: ink pad, MS Scandinavian Snowflake punch, Spellbinder Oval die, Lifestyle Nesting Frame Label 16 die, patterned paper , snippet of green cardstock, bling

Done this card based on MFT Challenge Sketch 494.

I cut the white cardstock with Label 16 die, inked the stamp and after that cut out using oval shape die. Before taking out from the die, I coloured the oval white background with soft pastel in 2 shades of green. Love the soft pastel, better than the distress ink. Nagomi Pastel Art

During the current Covid-19 lockdown in our place here, I have the opportunity to learn some free online painting lessons. One of them is painting using soft pastel. I love the outcome of the pastel. I learned step-by-step painting with pastel.  Though the it is usually done in a square card stock, I chose to do it in bookmark form so that I can use it later.
